The Elephant
in the Boardroom.

The global health pandemic has started a global mental health crisis: we are now experiencing a severe ‘hangover’ from the impact of lockdowns, lock-ins and all the other challenges that have come with COVID-19. This is severely impacting high achievers in particular due to the nature of those individuals’ unique mindset and lifestyle.

Mental Health Issues and Addiction at Work.

It’s happening closer to home than you might realise.

It’s no secret that the best leaders among us – the most driven, committed, and outside-the-box thinkers – are wired a bit differently from the rest.
However, these traits – risk-taking, success-driven, obsession, extreme commitment, adrenaline-seeking – are precisely what make a “good” addict. Often, the issues are swept under the carpet for a number of reasons; most commonly denial.

Denial is a huge factor in Highly Functioning Addiction, because we misinterpret our daily functioning as meaning we don't have a problem. High functioning professionals are less likely to seek treatment for their addictions until crisis point. Asking for help is a last resort because HFAs are accustomed to success and control in all areas of their life.

It’s time to act.

Our talks are designed for three core groups: Executives, leaders and Chief roles; Heads of People & Culture and division heads; and direct teams. These talks and webinars can be delivered in partnership with your own organisation’s employee support systems, and learning and wellness programs. Strategic communications to all key stakeholders are provided, along with aftercare solutions for anyone found to be requiring further support.

Sessions are usually 30m or 60m but can be tailored to your business needs.
